For episode 60 Sara and CJ run through the remaining and final episodes of the Mae Young Classic. We cover the second round, quarters, semis woah that's a lot! There were definitely some great matches througout the tourney and the finale delivered as well. Apologies ahead of time for the sniffling during the first half of the show--I cut most out but a little lingering cold worked its way into the show.

For episode 59 Sara and CJ run through the first round of the Mae Young Classic. We do talk about winners and losers so **SPOILER ALERT** Watch the show on the network or online first unless it doesn't bother you.
Match standouts from the first round include: Abbey Laith/Jazzy Gabert, Mia Yim/Sarah Logan, Piper Niven/Santana Garret, and Kairi Sane/Tessa Blanchard. If you like those sorta things, we even have a pin/submission/rollup counter--nerds!

Our long abstain-ia had ended as Sara and CJ run throught WrestleMania 23. They're "all grown up" as the motto for the show states and watch out for those unintentionally funny kid superstar promos. Taker & Batista as well as Cena & HBK brought the goods in spades plus we have WM debuts from CM Punk, Kennedy, and MVP.

Join Sara and CJ as we recap all of the past weekend's pro wrestling from WWE. Saturday night was TakeOver Brooklyn 3 from the NXT and let's just say we are grateful for NXT. The guys and gals put on a great show with quality matches up and down the card.
SummerSlam was more like SummerSludge. While having great matches of its own it was simply too long. The tag teams stole the show, Kevin Owens and AJ had a great match, and the beefed up main event was very good as well.

There's an excess of WWE content this weekend all taking place right here, in New York! [insert cheap pop] Saturday night we have TakeOver Brooklyn 3 and then SummerSlam on Sunday, not to mention RAW and SD in the days following. If you're wondering that's roughly 13 hours of programming!
Get set for the all the action with Sara and CJ as they go through each match, thoughts on our moods going into the weekend, as well as many instances of "what's the most WWE thing" WWE will do this weekend.

For episode 55 Sara and CJ go over the last few episodes of Netflix's GLOW series. How did the pilot episode shoot for the gorgeous ladies? Why does Rich Sommer always play such terrible guys? How did the series wrap up?
In the second part we go through another random network match, thanks to:
Samoan Swat Team vs Mike Justice & Tony Suber 3-25-89
The match wasn't terrible but very short so we filled in with some 1989 background and the like. Guess what, March 25, 1989 wasn't very exciting... Sorry if that's your birthday.

In episode 54 we tackle the lackluster Battleground "special" from the SmackDown Live crew. The show started off well with a great tag team title match between The Usos and New Day but was mostly downhill after that. "Hey don't forget AJ and Kevin!"-Sara
After the break we run through the next few episodes of G.L.O.W. Stereotypes, another WWE cameo, and some social media feedback.

Sara and CJ dive (sorry Randy) into night two of NJPW's G1 USA special as well as WWE RAW's Great Balls of Fire network special. NJPW's USA title tournament more than delivered with three very good matches and lots of drama.
Great Balls of Fire was a decent show with a cool main event of Samoa Joe and Brock Lesnar that left us wanting more. Other quality stuff included the 30 minute Iron Man tag team match, anything Braun did, and all that color! I'M NOT FINISHED WITH YOU YET!

In episode 52 Sara and CJ discuss night one oF NJPW's G1 USA special. We didn't realize how long of a night we were in for but sure glad we tuned in. This was our first foray into all the amazing talent NJPW has to offer and they didn't disappoint.

In episode 51 we dive into a couple of Netflix pro wrestling offerings. First we look at episode one of Lucha Underground (the first two seasons are available). It was interesting to go back and revisit the temple. We get introduced to many of the luchadores and there's a nice main event featuring Johnny Mundo aka John Morisson) and Prince Puma aka Riccochet.
In the second half we look at the show "GLOW", which is based of the women's wrestling promotion of the 80s. We go over our initial thoughts after the first couple episodes--all spoiler free of course. No you're not experiencing deja vu, it's another John Morisson sighting.
